  • Enthusiastic individuals to help during Griffith Park Free Shakespeare Festival performances

  • Folks to help with event set-ups, mailings, data-entry

Assistant House Manager, 2019 Griffith Park Free Shakespeare Festival
June 24 - September 1, 2019
Wednesday - Sunday, 4:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Do you enjoy being outside, meeting and greeting people, and troubleshooting? This position will support the House Manager in addressing the needs of the large Festival audience. The key attributes you need are responsibility and the ability to communicate clearly and confidently with a wide range of people. Duties include setting up and maintaining the box office area each night, greeting audience members, managing volunteers, helping set up path lighting, and handling audience member requests and concerns. Marketing and Community Engagement Assistant
Position opens September 3
$15/hour; 24 hours/week
This part-time position reports to the Development and Communications Director and works closely with the ISC Artistic Director. You will be a key team member when it comes to planning and executing marketing campaigns and initiatives to promote the full calendar including performances, special events, education programs and fundraising events. AEA Auditions for the 2019 Griffith Park Free Shakespeare Festival

April 1 & 2 (Callbacks April 8)

Please prepare one classical monologue; no more than two minutes!

**Non-union actors are welcome to attend these, but please be advised you will likely be asked to wait until all AEA members have been seen.

$430/week, with benefit weeks

April 3 (Callbacks April 8)

Please prepare two contrasting monologues, at least one of them classical. Each should be no more than two minutes.


Roles available in Twelfth Night: Orsino, Fabian, Sir Andrew, Curio, Valentine, Ensemble
Roles available in Pericles: Marina, Lysimachus, Thaisa, Boult, Cerimon, Bawd, Ensemble

Both productions will be highly physical, and musical ability is a plus. The ISC rehearsal environment is collaborative with a premium place on attention to language and actor-driven storytelling. The Festival rehearses 10-6, Tuesday - Sunday.
